Best YouTube Channels for Kids by Age
90+ parent-vetted YouTube channels organized by interest — STEM, animals, art, cooking, music, and more. Every channel on this list is one we'd let our own kids watch.
Finding good YouTube channels for kids shouldn't be this hard. You want content that's educational, age-appropriate, and actually entertaining — but searching YouTube for "kids videos" is a minefield. So we built this list.
Every channel here has been individually reviewed. We checked for consistent quality, age-appropriate content, no clickbait thumbnails, and genuine educational or entertainment value. They're organized by interest so you can find channels that match what your kid is actually into, not just what an algorithm thinks they should watch.
If you use VidCove, all of these channels are available as one-tap Channel Packs in the app — you can add an entire interest pack to your child's profile in seconds. But this list is useful whether you use VidCove or not.

How we chose these channels
Every channel on this list was evaluated on four criteria:
- Content quality: Is it genuinely educational or entertaining? Would a teacher or pediatrician recommend it?
- Consistency: Does the channel maintain quality across videos, or does it mix good content with clickbait?
- Age-appropriateness: Is the content clearly suitable for the age range listed? No surprises in thumbnails or language?
- No dark patterns: No manipulative thumbnails, no "Shorts-bait," no constant product pushing.
We intentionally kept some popular channels off this list because they didn't meet our standards for consistency or age-appropriateness. This is a curated list, not a comprehensive one — and we update it regularly.
